1. Half-Day, local Conference

The legacy of Convene: a half-day, local conference, balancing educational presentations, casual networking, and insightful round-table discussions guided by attendees. Attendance is limited to current owners and operators of shared workspaces, with a few guests invited to each conference. This is an opportunity to engage with peers and learn without being pitched by vendors or people “interested” in the industry.

With 162 participating spaces in 2016, each event has facilitated unique yet familiar conversations with topics ranging from community building to international expansion. Attendees guide each sessions focus and help provide insightful and actionable best practices from a collective of decades of day-to-day experiences in the industry.”

It’s our responsibility as owners, operators, and community managers to come together and learn from each other so that we can provide the best experiences for our members.

2. Open House

This is a busy, but productive day. It’s also a lot of fun. The Open House brings together every relevant party from in and around the local shared workspace ecosystem. Meet, connect and build relationships with potential members, brokers, vendors, sponsors, charities, and event organizers. Connect with local government officials, chambers of commerce and many other local organizations wanting to support your efforts. The theme of the day is impact.

Sometimes you just need to unwind around people who understand you — people who know that in our world, 98% of problems can be solved with free food and drinks. Well, you deserve some free food too ;) Join everyone for a local meetup; a casual evening to check out a new space, hang out with other owners and operators, mingle with coworking enthusiasts, and potentially have some good wine… Okay, definitely have some good wine.

To close out the year, all Qtly attendees are invited to participate in an end-of-year Global Online Summit. This is a one-day, interactive event, connecting peers and thought leaders in the industry from around the world. In addition to all the great speakers and special guests, you won’t want to miss all the big industry announcements that will be made throughout the day.
